Overview
Lore turns every Solana coin into a page. Instead of only a chart, a coin has posts, stories, holders and activity. Anyone holding a coin can post to it, anyone can like and repost, and holders can add stories that buy back and burn the coin.
Lore is also a launchpad. Coins launch on pump.fun, paired with SOL, and get their Lore page the moment they go live. 100% of every Lore coin's creator fees go to Lore: 80% of it buys back $LORE and burns it, and 20% goes to Lore's treasury.
Profiles
Every coin on Solana has a page at lorefun.xyz/coin/<mint> (or the short /c/<mint>). Paste a mint into search and it's there. Nobody has to claim it.
- Header: picture, name, ticker, mint, market cap with its 24h change, holder count, post count, and how much of the coin stories have burned.
- Bio: a coin launched on Lore shows the description it launched with. A coin without a description has no bio.
- Links: the X, Telegram and website links given at launch.
- Tabs: Lore (every post by its holders, newest first), Gallery (the same posts as a wall of images), Holders (the biggest holders and their share of the supply) and Activity.
- Buttons: Buy, Post, Story and Share.
Market data comes from Jupiter and holders are read on-chain.
Wallet and sign-in
Connect any Solana wallet that supports the Wallet Standard: Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, OKX and others.
Posting, liking and reposting need a one-time sign-in: your wallet signs a short Sign In With Solana message proving the wallet is yours. It's free, sends no transaction and moves nothing. The session lasts 30 days. Switching wallets asks again.
Stories and launches are real transactions: your wallet shows exactly what it's signing, and nothing happens until you approve it.
Posting
- Who can post: anyone holding at least $5 of the coin in the connected wallet. It's checked on-chain each time you post.
- The photo: one image, JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF, up to 8 MB. It's resized to at most 1080 px and saved as a JPEG, so a GIF posts as a still.
- The caption: up to 280 characters. Letters, numbers, spaces, emojis and . , ! ? ' - only.
- No contract addresses and no links in captions. A caption with a mint-like string or a web address is refused.
- How often: up to 5 posts per coin per wallet in any 24 hours.
- Badges: every post shows the share of the supply its author held when posting, and the coin's creator is marked Creator.
Posts are free. Selling the coin later doesn't remove your posts.
Likes and reposts
Anyone signed in can like and repost any post, once per post per wallet, and undo either. They're free and off-chain. Your reposts show on your page under Your coins.
Feed and Coins
- For you: posts from every coin, new stories and new launches, newest first.
- Holding: the same, for only the coins in your connected wallet.
- Stories row: coins with stories you haven't watched come first with a bright ring. Watched ones turn grey and move back.
- New launches appear in the feeds as soon as they go live on Lore.
- Explore and the sidebar: Trending ranks coins by trading volume in the last hour, and Market cap ranks by size.
Stories
A story is a photo with a line of text, shown at the top of the feed and as a ring on the coin's picture for 24 hours from the moment its transaction confirms.
- Who: holders with at least $5 of the coin.
- Price: 0.05 SOL per story, plus Solana's network fee (about 0.0002 SOL).
- 80% (0.04 SOL) buys the coin back and burns it. The buy goes through Jupiter (a coin on Lore's old Raydium curve is bought straight from its curve).
- 20% (0.01 SOL) goes to Lore's fee wallet.
- What burns: the amount the buyback guarantees after 3% slippage. If the buy gets more, the extra stays in your wallet.
- Text: up to 90 characters, with the same rules as captions.
The payment, the buyback and the burn are one transaction you sign: all of it lands or none of it does, and anyone can check the burn on-chain. When it confirms, the feed shows "wallet added a story to $TICKER", and the coin's page adds the burn to its total.
Launching
Launch from Launch in the menu: add an image, a name and a ticker, optionally a dev buy and links, and sign once.
| Chain and launchpad | Solana, pump.fun's bonding curve |
|---|---|
| Pair | SOL |
| Token | Token-2022, 6 decimals, no mint authority and no freeze authority |
| Supply | 1,000,000,000. 793,100,000 (79.31%) sell on the bonding curve, and the rest goes into the pool at graduation |
| Creator fees | 100% to Lore's GitHub account, github.com/launchonlore, through pump.fun's fee sharing. Set in the launch transaction and locked: nobody, including Lore, can change it afterwards |
| Metadata | Hosted by Lore at lorefun.xyz/m/<mint> |
| Name | Up to 32 characters |
| Ticker | 1 to 10 capital letters or digits |
| Description | Optional, up to 280 characters. It becomes the bio, and the caption of the first post if it meets the caption rules |
| Links | Optional X, Telegram and website, https:// only |
| Image | Becomes the coin's picture and its first post |
Dev buy
Optional, up to 50 SOL. It's in the same transaction as the creation, so nobody can buy before you, and it's protected with 1% slippage.
One transaction
Creating the coin, assigning its creator fees and the dev buy are one transaction signed by your wallet and by the coin's new mint key. The mint key is made in your browser and never sent to Lore. Either everything lands or nothing does. Launching costs no Lore fee: you pay only Solana's rent and network fees (about 0.03 SOL), plus your dev buy.
Graduation
A coin graduates when its bonding curve sells out (793,100,000 tokens, about 85 SOL raised). pump.fun then moves it to PumpSwap, its own exchange, automatically. The coin's creator fees keep going to Lore there through the same fee-sharing setup.
Fees
Every fee on Lore, and where it goes:
| When | Fee | Goes to |
|---|---|---|
| Trading on the bonding curve (buys and sells) | 0.30% | The coin's creator fee: 100% to Lore (github.com/launchonlore) |
| 0.95% | pump.fun | |
| Trading after graduation | PumpSwap's fees | The coin's creator fee keeps going 100% to Lore |
| Adding a story | 0.05 SOL | 0.04 SOL buys the coin back and burns it, and 0.01 SOL goes to Lore |
| Launching a coin | None | You pay only Solana's rent and network fees (about 0.03 SOL) |
| Posts, likes, reposts, sign-in | Free | Nothing is sent on-chain |
| Buying with the Buy button | None from Lore | Opens Jupiter, where Jupiter's own terms apply |
Example: 10 SOL of buys and sells on a coin's curve pays 0.03 SOL in creator fees to Lore, and 0.095 SOL to pump.fun.
Where Lore's revenue goes
Lore takes no fee for launching. Its revenue is the creator fees of the coins launched on Lore: 80% of it buys back $LORE and burns it, and 20% goes to Lore's treasury.
Stories work the same way, for the coin they're on: 80% of every story's fee buys back that coin and burns it, and 20% goes to Lore's fee wallet.
The curve fees are pump.fun's, read from its on-chain fee config. pump.fun sets them and may change them.
Limits
| Holding needed to post or add a story | $5 of the coin |
|---|---|
| Posts | 5 per coin per wallet in any 24 hours |
| Caption | 280 characters |
| Story text | 90 characters |
| Photo | JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF, up to 8 MB, saved at most 1080 px |
| Story length | 24 hours |
| Sign-in session | 30 days |
| Dev buy | Up to 50 SOL |
| Coin name and ticker | 32 characters, and 1 to 10 capital letters or digits |
| Graduation | When the curve sells out, about 85 SOL raised |
Buying
The Buy button opens the coin on Jupiter, which routes to its pump.fun curve or, after graduation, PumpSwap. Lore doesn't route your trade and adds no fee to it. A Lore coin's creator fee is charged by pump.fun itself, whichever app you trade from.
Safety
- Lore never holds your coins and can't move them. It reads your balances, and only transactions you sign move anything.
- Before a story or a launch is sent, Lore checks the signed transaction does exactly what it should and nothing else. For a story, that means the 0.01 SOL fee to Lore's fee wallet, the 0.04 SOL buyback into your own account, and the burn. For a launch, it's your coin on pump.fun, its creator fees assigned 100% to Lore and locked, and your dev buy. Anything else is refused and never sent.
- Every transaction is simulated first, and Lore shows its cost before you sign.
- Lore coins have no mint authority and no freeze authority: nobody can mint more or freeze your coins.
Rules
No contract addresses or links in captions or stories. Illegal content, explicit content and scams are removed. A coin's creator can't remove what its holders post, so a page belongs to its holders.

FAQ
Does posting cost anything?
No. Posts, likes and reposts are free: you sign in once with a message, and nothing is sent on-chain. Only stories cost something (0.05 SOL), and most of that burns the coin.
Which coins work?
Any coin on Solana, including Token-2022 coins and coins still on a bonding curve. Launching is for new coins, on pump.fun.
Can I post on a coin I sold?
Not anymore: you need at least $5 of it at the moment you post. Your older posts stay up.
Who gets a Lore coin's creator fees?
Lore, 100%, through pump.fun's fee sharing to github.com/launchonlore. It's set in the launch transaction and locked, so it can't be changed. 80% of it buys back $LORE and burns it, and 20% goes to Lore's treasury.
What if a story or launch transaction fails?
Then nothing happens, and you pay at most Solana's network fee. A story is only shown once its transaction confirms.
Is there a Lore token?
Yes: $LORE, contract address 64fpkSXSL289f139vzxWFArG2sjVNMLT79wDh8Udpump (its Lore page). 80% of Lore's revenue buys it back and burns it. Any other coin calling itself $LORE isn't ours.
